Larien awoke an hour later, almost gasping in pain from a sharp kick from one of the babies.

Rai still slept next to her, his arms clinging onto hers

Larien laid on her back as her hands rubbed her stomach, trying to soothe the babies.

Rai turned around, obviously dreaming because his tail was wagging, the fur on it tickling her belly where the babies just so happened to be pressing againsst

Larien laughed a bit before wincing again in pain. She finally grabbed Rai's hand, squeezing it tightly.

Rai's tail straightened out, his eyes opening instantly "oww oww oww!!" he said sitting up, then looked at his wife "Larien?! What are you....Holy crap are you ok?! your not going into Labor are you?!"

"No," Larien winced squeezing his hand tighter.

"then whats oww. happening??" Rai said as she squeezed harder, feeling like his hand was going to shatter

Larien winced, squeezing her eyes closed. "Early contractions probably..."

"is..oww..Is that bad?" Rai said, moving so she could lean back into his chest if she needed too

"No," the elven princess said as she leaned into him. "Just means times getting closer.."

"Oh...so..Im going to be a dad soon?" Rai asked, his ears twitching, looking down at his elven princess

LArien forced a smile and nodded as she looked up at him.

"wow...." was all the hybrid could say, he sat there, holding his wife, her squeezing his hand tightly, the contractions growing stronger

The princess squeezed his hand tighter as she almost screamed from the pain.

"It'll be alright Larien." Rai said, his wife's hand almost crushing his. he wanted to pass out. "oww...never knew you were this strong" the hybrid laughed

Larien smiled somewhat as she loosened her grip on his hand, as the contractions began to calm down. "I"m sorry.."

"Its alright Larien." Raito said as he could feel his fingers again. he held her closer, watching the sun sink from the sky

Larien watched the sun in the sky and then looked up at him.

"I think its bed time." Rai said with a Yawn. holding the princess against his chest

Larien nodded, trying not to yawn. "We should go back to the castle," she said sitting up somewhat.

"Yeah" Rai said helping the princess to her feet. "you alright??" he asked, gazing into her emerald green eyes

Larien smiled, looking back into his eyes. "I'm all right," she said with one of her hands on her belly.

"alright. lets go home" Raito said as he picked her up. "or do you wanna walk?"

"It's more fun if we walk," Larien smiled.
