"I know...but I mean an evil fallen, you know like fire and brimstone.. you remember how viciously and savagly he attacked me and Anna at the wedding.." Raito said, the wounds acting up as he remembered the fight, blood slightly seeping through the bandages

"I know," Larien said, and kissed his cheek as she got up from the bed to get him new bandages. "But even so.. You need not to worry about your father, we will deal with him when the time comes again." She pulled up his shirt gently.

"I hope I never have to see his cowerdly face again..." Rai said, letting her remove the bandages. "you have to clean them again...dont you.." the halfblood said as she sat the disinfectant herbs by his waist

Larien nodded picking up some of the herbs.

"Oh man this is gonna sting" Raito said as he braced himself, waiting for her to place the icy cold gell she would squeeze from the herbs onto his open flesh

Larien placed a towel in his mouth for him to bite on as the gel slowly came from the herb on to her finger tips. She slowly drew them across the wounds so that the entire wound would be covered.

Rai gasped as the Icy cold gell spred accrost his wounds, the sticky nature of the sap causing his wounds to shut, then came the stinging. A mufffeled scream came from the halfbreed as he bit into the towel. causing a a hole to form in the cloth

Larien finished cleaning the wounds and slowly started to wrap the new bandages around them.

"Oww! Man that stuff hurts!" Raito said as tears of pain started to well up in his eyes, then whiped them clear. "but it works." the Hybrid said, feeling the wounds closing

Larien bandaged up his healing wounds and kissed him. "That should be the last time I need the herbs," she said. "I can start using water.''

"Oh thank God.." Rai said, his tail wagging when she said that, still feeling the sting of the herbs

Larien laughed kissing his cheek and laid on her back. It was hard to shift with the growing belly and she laid her hand on it, rubbing gently. She yawned.

"heh tired already?" Rai said as he picked her up, sliding her so that she was resting on him, then wrapped his arms around the princess "That better?", the rain beating down on the roof of the castle

The princess nodded as she nuzzled her head against the hybrids chest.

Raito sat there, listening to the rain as he held his wife. a small thunderclap booming outside there window

Larien jumped, almost clinging to him again.

"Its alright Larien, Im here, your perfectly safe." Raito said as another lightning bolt flashed in the window. "1...2...3....4...5...6.." He counted, getting cut off by the thunder. "Looks like the center of the storm is about 1.2 miles away from us.." He said after doing alittle math in his head

Larien looked at him a bit confuseed, she was never good with math.

"Oh, Um...as soon as you see the lightning, you count from one, then devide the number you counted to before the thunder goes by five, and you have how far you were away from the lightning strike." Raito explained. remembering half of the things he learned in the human realm, "you really want to go to Earth dont you?" he laughed, looking at her

Larien nodded looking up at him. "I want to know what in the world you're talking about," she said laying on his chest.

"heh, you'll learn it eventualy" he laughed, the hybrid held his pregnant wife tightly as the storm raged on, thunder now almost continuously booming outside their window.

Larien held on to him, but didn't jump as often. She felt safe in his arms and she rested her head against his chest, slowly drifting to sleep.

Raito slowly felt himself nodding off to the sound of the rain and the body heat Larien was putting off, he yawned, leaning his back completely on the head board "I guess today is just a lazy day huh?"

Larien nodded as she fell asleep in his arms.

Raito kissed her hair, it smelled like Lillies, he sighed, this was great and all..but he missed the excitement of the old days, back when they were just dating, but he just wasnt going to Up and leave, especialy now that she was pregnant, and almost alittle over half way till they would be born. he held Larien tighter, thinking about not being like his father, then fell asleep, her body heat radiating onto his skin.
