Faded Memories

"It keeps the baby healthy," Larien said leaning on his chest. "It doesn't do any harm. It just makes it so if I get sick, the baby doesn't."

"Oh..Alright, but what are the odds of that?" Rai said lifting his head and gazed into her emerald eyes

The Elven Princess smiled looking into his eyes and subconciously her hand fell onto her stomach as she looked down. "They're not very high, but Rose likes to do it as precaution. She'll be the only one who knows." She looked back up at him.

"..Alright" Raito sighed, He didnt really much like the idea of anyone else being let in on their secret, but Larien wouldent give up until he said yes, or would have done it anyway, then placed his hand on her stomach, hoping he would feel his child kick

Larien winced a little as the baby kicked, as if it knew that he had touched it. She smiled looking at him. "I won't tell Rose, I'm having one. I'll just say that one of my maids is." She said placing her hand on his cheek.

Raito's face lit up as he felt the kick, he started to laugh quietly 'I..Im a father..' Rai though to himself then held Larien with both arms and kissed her 'Mom.....I promise......I'll be a much better father then mine'

Larien wrapped her arms around him as she kissed him back. She remembered the short years she had spent with her mother and wanted to make it up with her own.

A voice popped into Rai's head as the two kissed. 'I know you will Rai-Rai'. With that Raito broke the kiss and looked into the woods behind Larien, and saw a pure white wolf, he then rubbed his eyes and looked again, but it was gone, The hybrid stood there, with a dazed and slightly afraid look on his face, as if he had just seen something paranormal.

Larien looked at him before looking in the direction he had. She placed a hand on his cheek. "Rai?" She said looking worried. "Rai, you look like you've just seen a ghost. Are you all right?"

"I....I think I just did..I could have sworn I just saw my mother in her wolf form..." Raito said, then felt a freezing sensation come over his whole body. 'Take care, of you and your family, my son' His mother's voice rang through his head, Rai's then breath became visible

Larien felt a cold sensation run over her arms and she shivered slightly. "Rai.." She said looking up at him.

"I will mom...I promise" Rai said as the Cold zone dissipated. "I think Its safe to say Mom approves and is watching over us"

Larien smiled and watched as a spiral of tree leaves circled around them, going into the sky. "I bet my mother is too," she said, her eyes slightly filling with tears.

the Hybrid whiped the tears from her eyes, then stroked her cheek and held the Elven Princess "I love you." Raito said before kissing her

Larien kissed him back, feeling a warm breeze blow against them. "I love you too," she said smiling. She looked how low the sun was in the sky. "Wow, we've been out here for a while." She said leaning against him.

"Yeah." he said looking down at his bride-to-be, and the mother of his Unborn child. "We should probibly head to Roses's now"

Larien nodded, looking into husband-to-be's eyes and slightly blushed a little.

"alright, Hold on you two" He laughed, Gently picking her up, then summoned his wings and took off

LArien wrapped her arms around his neck, holding tightly to him.

"alright, were here" Raito said touching down outside her front door, then let her down as gently as he picked her up

Larien kissed his cheek walking up to the door. She knocked on it lightly and smiled as the elderly woman answered.

"Ah, Larien," Rose smiled. "What do I owe this visit?"

"I need that special herb of yours," She said her hands folded in front of her. "One of my maids is pregnant."

"Ah, hold on a moment." She left the door and went over to one of her counters. She pulled down a glass jar with a plant with red and pick flowers. "Have her mix it with honey. And she'll be just fun."

"Thank you." The women bowed and Larien headed back towards Rai, holding the jar in her hands.

"ok hold on tight" Rai said lifting off once again, then headed back to the castle, Holding onto her extra tight

When they landed on her balcony, she set the jar on her vanity. She looked around her room, looking for the large wooden bowl she used to mix her own herbs in. "I can't find it," she said looking under her bed and in her closet.

"where was the last place you had it?" Rai asked, then lied down on their bed, and spread his wings out as wide as they'd go, before dispurding them

Larien found it under her vanity and set it on the floor as she kneeled down with the jar. "Can you take down the jar of honey, please?" she asked pointing to a large cabinet.
