Faded Memories

"alright" he said jumping up, then went over to the cabnit and got the honey from the top shelf, almost causing the entire thing to fall ontop of him "here you go" Rai said kissing her head

"Thank you," Larien said smiling as she took it from him. She poured a little in with the flowers and mixed them together till they were almost a liquid. "Now, what to put it in..."

"you mean theres more?!" Rai asked looking confused

"What do you mean there's more?" She asked looking up at him, confused.

"you just said..ahh nevermind" Rai said as he sat down next to her, slightly dozing off in the process

Larien shook her head, giggling a bit as she poured her mixture into a smaller jar. She took a drink from it before putting the cap on and setting it on the vanity. She walked over to the bed, laying beside him.

"so, It worked right?" Rai said as he touched her stomach again, hoping the embryo had calmed down

Larien shrugged and smiled. "We won't know until the baby gets bigger, silly." She said placing her hand on his. The embryo shifted slightly, but was no longer kicking.

"oh..right" Rai laughed nerviously. then wrapped his arms around her and dozed off

Larien nuzzled her head against his neck, drifting off to sleep after him.

The morning sun rose, peeking its light into thebalcony window and onto the bed, Rai woke up, Larien still in his arms, she felt alittle cold, she was also very pale again "looks like this morning sickness is gonne be a daily thing" he said quietly hoping to not wake her

Larien stirred in her sleep next to him, her body shook a little from the morning sickness. Her hand rested on her stomach, hoping it'd calm it down.

Raito held her closer, trying to keep her warm and calm her, he softly kissed her head

Larien at last couldn't hold it back anymore. Leaving his embrace, she ran to the bathroom before getting sick again.

Rai again got up and ran to the bathroom, he held her hair for her as she vommited, rubbing her back to ease the pain "it will be ok..we dont have to hide it for much longer" Raito said, trying to calm her

Larien nodded. When it stopped, she sat back on her knees and wiped her mouth with a wet cloth. "Hopefully the morning sickness will pass.." She said, her hands sitting on her lap.

"dont worry, It will" Rai said, placing his hand on her sholder "all things pass with time" he said, not noticing the figure behind him

Kaine crept through the door, sniffing a little and his ears pulled back. He crawled over to Larien, practically laying on his front paws, but still standing. He nuzzled his head in her lap looking up at her. Larien giggled, as she laid her hand on the wolf's head.

"Rai, what exactly did you do to her? you can tell me, no one else can even understand me" Kaine said looking up at him, forgetting to mention that his sister was right behind him and had heard the whole conversation betwene the two. "well..I suppose" Rai said speaking wolf

Larien looked away from Kaine to have noticed someone standing in the doorway. Anna stood there, looking down at both of them as they sat on the floor; her head slightly cocked to one side. "Oh.. Hi, Anna," Larien said with a nervous laugh.

Anna leaned on the frame of the door, playing with her blonde hair. "What will pass?" she asked looking between them. Her innocent face looking confused and lost.

"Oh..Um.....Larien is still kind of feeling alittle sick" Rai said as he turned to see his sister "I just told her that she'd feel better eventualy"

Anna glanced between the two. "Yeah," she said. "But she was sick yesterday morning to." She stood away from the door frame and crouched in front of Larien. "I'm female too, and I know when another is going to have a baby." She had a slight smirk on her face, but as well as a worry look.

Larien didn't say anything, she looked at her hands in her lap. She was waiting for his response whether or not they should tell her she's right or call her crazy.

Kaine perked his ears up and turned to Rai "What?! the hell did you do?!..Awww! thats why you smelled horrible yesterday isnt it?!" he said, sounding mad and disgusted at the same time, then slightly barred his teeth "H-Hey! Calm down!" Rai said in english looking at him

Larien placed her hand on Kaine's head and patted him lightly. "It's all right, Kaine." She smiled. She looked at Rai. "He was an orphan when I found him. And he's never... well, bred before.. so.."

"oh..Kaine..look we didnt plan on it.." Rai said, completely forgetting about Anna being in the room
