Faded Memories

"come on" Raito said, lifting the blanket so she would climb into bed with him. "I know your feeling tired" the hybrid laughed

Larien crawled under the covers, sliding in next to him and laid her head against his chest.

Rai held her, feeling his eyelids get heavy, He yawned, slowly dozing off, pulling the elven princess closer to him while he was still awake

Larien fell asleep against him, one arm pulled close to her chest and the other around his waist.

Raito slowly moved his arm over hers, so the two were cuddling as they slept, he then nodded off. still holding her close as the two slept

~~~~~~That Next Week; Wedding Day~~~~~~~~


Larien awoke to bells ringing outside and people rushing around outside the doors. The sunlight slowly crept into her room through her balcony doors and Kaine lay sleeping at the foot of their bed. She smiled, kissing Raito's lips softly as he still slept.

Rai woke up as she kissed his lips. "huh? whats goin on? what day is it?" he asked, still half asleep. hearing all of the people rushing around and the bells. "Wait...Its today isnt it!" He said hapily

The Elven princess smiled and nodded. "They'll be coming in soon to get me ready and to take you to get you ready," she said laying against him.

Rai Stretched, hoping that someone wouldent break them up to early, "hey, I forgot, what part does Anna Have again?" Rai asked, scratching the back of his head, his ears twitching to the door

"She's my Maid of Honor, silly," Larien giggled kissing him and pulled herself closer, ignoring the knocks on the door.

"Oh right." Rai said with a laugh, the knocking on the door getting louder, before it burst open, Anna, In a Pink dress, stomped into the room "Rai! your lucky your my brother or you'd die for this!" she yelled pointing at the color of the dress

Larien looked over at Anna and smiled. "But it looks pretty on you Anna," she giggled noticing maids heading towards the door. "Here they come," she said laying her head on Rai's shoulder.

"Oh Joy" Rai said half joking. "so how bad do you think this is gonna be?" the hybrid said, watching the maids rush into the room

Larien shrugged. "It won't be so bad for you," She said kissing him before getting out of the bed. "They just have to find a nice prince outfit of my brothers to put you in." She ran her fingers through her hair. "They're putting me in a dress from scratch."

"Yeah, Well I guess this is good by for now" Rai said getting up, then was pushed out of the room by impatinte maids "woah!"

Larien was dragged to a different room and they passed each other on different corridors. She smiled waving to him, maids fiddling with her hair.

Rai waved back as they groomed him, he wasnt used to all this pampering and cleaning, slightly fighting them

Larien giggled watching him before being taken into a room and stood up on a small flat stool as they prepared the cloth of the dress.

Raito struggled with the servants, but eventualy they got him in the prince's outfit. "Gah, not one of these things again" he said tugging at the collar as they let him out of the room

Olwe laughed standing in the doorway as the servants left. "Not bad this time," he said approaching the young half breed. "Just don't rip it, it's my last one." He took a gold band from off his arm, placing around Raito's forehead. In the center was a ruby. "Good luck." He smiled. "Rose is waiting downstairs to take you to where they set up for the wedding."



The maids finished Larien's dress and moved to do her hair. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed, a smile across her face.

((Cept pretend the hairs blonde))

"Right, I wont tear this one up" Raito laughed, then headed down stairs. "ok, Im ready to go" he said as rose waited for him downstairs

Rose smiled and led him over the the Cherry Blossom Grove where he would wait for Larien.

The maids finished her hair before giving her a bouget of roses to carry. She smiled looking in the mirror and the maids led her out of the castle through the front where the villagers could see her but Rai couldn't.
